Frequently Asked Questions — The Original Bunk Unit — $725/mo
In this community, we do have a pet-friendly unit available. Cats and dogs are welcome as long as they have all current vaccinations and weigh under 35 pounds. Cats must be declawed, and pet owners are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and noise control.
Residents in the $575 and $925 units are allotted:
- Three dresser drawers
- Two feet of closet space
- Shared kitchen cabinet and fridge space with three other residents
We recommend bringing only one week’s worth of food at a time. Bathroom and hygiene items should fit in a standard shower caddy to help maintain a clean, organized living space.
Each resident is allowed one personal vehicle. An additional vehicle may be approved if it is a company-provided vehicle. Project vehicles or inoperable cars are not permitted on property.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is not offered at this Austin location. We do provide MAT options at our Houston (Dumble Street) and San Antonio (Pine Street) locations for residents who need that level of care.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for drug and alcohol use to keep the home safe and supportive for all residents. If a relapse occurs, we will help coordinate placement in a detox or treatment center. Depending on the situation, residents may be offered the option to transfer into our Back on Track Unit for additional structure and accountability.
Yes. All residents must have at least 30 days of sobriety before moving into All units at $575 and above price point. If you don’t yet meet this requirement, our Back on Track Unit offers a supportive space for men with fewer than 30 days sober. This requirement is waived for clients transferring from a 28-day inpatient facility (not detox).
Participation in a Partial Hospitalization (PHP) or Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) meets our full-time policy. Once you complete your treatment program, you’ll be required to meet our Full-Time Work or School policy to stay compliant with community guidelines.
Overnight passes and curfew extensions are based on your phase level in our accountability program:
- Phase 1: Curfew is 10:30 PM (Sun–Thurs), 12:00 AM (Fri–Sat).
- Phase 2: 1 overnight pass per month; curfew 12:00 AM (Sun–Thurs), 1:00 AM (Fri–Sat).
- Phase 3: 2 overnight passes per month; curfew 12:00 AM (Sun–Thurs), 2:00 AM (Fri–Sat).
Exceptions or additional passes require management approval and depend on progress and sobriety milestones.
Residents in the Back on Track Program are not permitted to work overnight shifts. Those with 30 days or more of sobriety may request approval for overnight employment from the on-site manager. Each case is reviewed individually to ensure it aligns with recovery goals and community standards.
