Therapeutic Services for Addiction Recovery in Texas

Rooms Available Today.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program provides treatment in safe, productive group settings as well as individually. We understand that the first few months of early recovery are a big adjustment and that relocating to a new city or moving into a local sober living home can be both stressful and challenging. Many of us at Eudaimonia have been in your shoes and we understand how you feel. In an effort to ease the transition, we provide the following individual therapeutic services to all residents of our Eudaimonia transitional housing program.

Psychiatry

Moving to a new city or state is often accompanied by a number of obstacles to overcome, including resuming medical care with a new doctor. In most cases, individuals seeking a continuum of recovery care in the Austin, Texas area are transitioning from other cities or states. If medication was prescribed during your treatment at an inpatient drug and alcohol rehab center, you will need to continue with your regimen after rehab as well.

Being a new resident of a city or state can make establishing a relationship with a doctor difficult. To help with the transition, Eudaimonia Recovery Homes utilizes Dr. Fredric Wilson’s services to help you continue your recovery process, whether it involves a medication regimen or not. Using an individualized assessment, Dr. Wilson will continue your prescribed medication and psychiatric care throughout the duration of your sober living program.

In addition to managing your prescribed medication, Dr. Wilson can also provide integrated treatment of coexisting disorders such as anxiety, depression, and mood disorders to help you manage the stressors associated with transitioning from rehab into a sober living or intensive outpatient program.

Coaching

Eudaimonia recovery coaches have walked through the obstacles of early recovery, just like you. These individuals will become an invaluable resource throughout your sober living program by providing essential support services, such as helping you set and achieve short and long-term recovery goals, monitoring your efforts on a day-to-day basis, and serving as a liaison between yourself and your family members.

Throughout your time in our transitional housing program, your sober coach will be a constant source of support and resources as you face the day-to-day decisions of early sobriety. He or she will help you:

  • Get a sponsor
  • Obtain employment
  • Volunteer
  • Learn how to set healthy boundaries
  • Identify potential hobbies and healthy social outlets
  • Gain important life skills

Consistent weekly meetings with your sober coach will ensure accountability between you, your family, and the other members of your sober living home, and as you continue to meet the objectives of your sober living program, you’ll gradually find yourself adjusting to your new normal: a sober life.
