What Sets Our Houston Sober Living Apart
Consistent community standards, curfews, and regular drug and alcohol testing keep the homes stable and recovery-focused. A house manager or on-site leadership provides guidance, ensures safety, and promotes a respectful, solution-oriented culture.
Bedrooms and common areas are ready from day one.
They come with Wi-Fi, on-site laundry, and kitchens for cooking. Also, living spaces for studying, meetings, or relaxing exist. Some homes feature extras like TV/gaming or billiards areas, making it easy to relax and connect with peers.
Residents move through a phased or three-phase recovery framework that pairs clear goals with increasing independence. Milestones like consistent sobriety, job or class participation, and responsible community living unlock added privileges—an effective bridge from treatment to independent living.
House-led group meetings and a culture of peer support help residents stay involved. They can discuss challenges, celebrate successes, and maintain momentum each week.
If you need more structure, you can arrange Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services while you live at home. This makes it easier to balance recovery with work or school.
Our Houston Sober
Homes History
Eudaimonia Recovery Homes first began began serving Houston in 2017. We started off by incorporating Extended Aftercare into our Eudaimonia System. After operating off of Delz street for a few years, we wanted to build a community HUB for recovery. We transition our operation to 1010 Waverly street and combined our sober living with an option IOP in Houston. This location is also the only sober living home in Houston, whom has an accreditation with JCAHO. This pristine accreditation is only reserved for treatment centers. In 2023, we expanded into South Houston and in 2025, we expanded into the popular Spring Branch community

Community Standards for Safer, More Structured Houston Sober Living
Recovery is easier to protect when expectations are clear. That’s why our Houston sober living homes emphasize sobriety, respect, active participation, and consistent routines—helping residents strengthen daily habits, stay accountable, and focus on long-term progress.
Why Eudaimonia stands out in Houston sober living
In Houston, Sober Living America emphasizes recovery education, career development, transportation, spiritual education, and life-skills services, while Cenikor presents recovery housing as an affordable bridge from treatment to independent living with recovery coaching and daily onsite staff. Eudaimonia’s Houston homes are positioned differently: fully furnished men’s and women’s residences with house-manager or coordinator support, regular drug and alcohol testing, clear community standards, and ready-to-use amenities like Wi‑Fi, laundry, kitchens, and common living space. If the priority is a move-in-ready sober home with clear day-to-day expectations, Eudaimonia may be the better fit.
Compared with Sober Living America and Cenikor, Eudaimonia puts more of the decision into the living experience itself. Residents can evaluate furnished rooms, gender-specific placement, onsite guidance, and daily accountability from the start, rather than comparing only broader service models. For many Houston residents and families, that makes Eudaimonia a clearer sober-living choice when housing quality, structure, and consistency matter most.
