Described as an “authentic display of Irish culture and pride,” Austin’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration features live, local entertainment from Celtic musicians, delicious Irish food and drink, and fun, family-friendly activities that anyone can enjoy. Although there will be alcoholic beverages on-site, this event does not revolve around drinking and there are plenty of other fun ways to spend your time there with friends or family this St. Patrick’s Day.

Doc’s Drive-In Theatre St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Sunday, March 17; noon-10 p.m.; 11540 Satterwhite Rd. Buda, TX; free

Looking for a unique and fun way to spend your St. Patrick’s Day this year? Doc’s Drive-In Theatre in Buda is hosting an old-fashioned St. Patrick’s Day celebration for the whole family. Watch a movie drive-in style and then crash for the night in one of the venue’s cute movie-themed tiny homes in Weewok Village, just next door to the drive-in theater.

60th Annual Houston St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Saturday, March 16; noon to 2 p.m.; 401 Franklin St., Houston, TX; free

Houston’s annual St. Patrick’s Day parade is a free event and one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day parades in the nation. The event will also feature an award ceremony and afterparty in Market Square after the parade. 2019 Luck of the Irish Virtual 5K

This unique 5K is a virtual race, so you and your sober living roommates can run it together on your own time, at your own convenience.
